I got this washer for the tack building, and I wash horse blankets all the time. It's great! The large capacity is just what I was looking for.

The water filter, even though the company has changed the design from the original filter, seems to be working. But I will know better in a month's time. However the water is good, no taste, as it should be.

I bought a couple cheaper competitor filters and they didn't perform the same way that this filter did. Our ice tastes the best to us when we use this brand.
