The media could not be loaded. The unit arrived in good shape and is easy to mount, install and worked as expected. No complaints here but I wanted to use this in a shed with no access to electricity for a light, during the day or at night. After playing around a bit I found that the light will only work at night when the solar panel is not charging, and it will only work with the solar panel plug inserted into the light unit in the shed. So, I bought a basic surface mount on-off switch that was pre-wired, see the pictures. I carefully split the wire pair coming from the solar panel to the light unit. I cut only one of the two wires, not both, and secured the two cut ends to the on-off switch with small wire nuts. When the switch is in the "ON" position the solar panel can charge the batteries in the light unit. When the switch is in the "OFF" position the solar panel cannot charge the batteries BUT it also allows the motion detector and light to work during the day, see the attached video. You should notice a short delay when I switch the solar panel back "ON" and the light turns off in the video. I just have to remember to turn the switch back to "ON" when I leave the shed to allow the solar panel to charge the batteries. In the end, I have functional light with just a bit of modification.

I put this up in my mother-in-laws storage shed which does not have power to it. Mounted the solar panel on top and ran the line through the side vent to the light. Now when she opens the door the light comes on and she can see inside without using a flashlight. The shed is 12 x 16 and the light works great.

We needed some lights for the exterior of our garage but didn’t want to pay for an electrician to come out. We live where it’s sunny most of the time and figured solar lights would do the job. We had to get creative with how to install the solar panel on the roof but not make any holes. My husband came up with a great idea that held up to a huge storm that included high winds and hail the day after we installed them and the panels stayed in place! Go hubby!! The way he has the lights mounted, we can move them if needed. I chose this light with the longer cord because I wasn’t sure where they would be hung so I wanted to make sure that wasn’t an issue for us when we went to install them. As soon as the lights arrived, I placed the solar panels outside in the sun so they could start charging. The lights work well. If I had to pick something to fix, it would be for the lights to stay on a bit longer. Other than that we are thrilled with our purchase! These lights do not have any settings, it’s just on or off. Both the light and solar panels are adjustable and can be turned and tilted.

The light is super easy to install. It has a long cord and that is awesome but mine only works if the plug is barely in entry for it. If I plug it all the way in it wont work. This seems very common with this product. Im putting some electric tape to protect the plug. The motion detectable area is nice and light is sufficient for my needs. Im using it to help with predators around my chicken coop.

Work very well. Bright and very responsive to motion. Long power cord. Seems to charge fast and operate as expected

This is surprisingly bright. Easy to mount. The swivel for the light was too loose and the cheap plastic didnt take well to snugging . I used a shim and its work well.

Was easy to install and was bright. Well see how long it will last.

This is a bright light! Do not be misled by the lumens (I never thought those words would come out of my fingers) This light is surprising.

This was installed to come on as anyone approached our steps off the back steps where there were no light. It works perfectly to come on as a person gets in range. No more accidents of stumbling on things you can't see. And no cords and looking for plug-ins. Thank the sun for this pleasure.

Works as it should with a cord long enough to get out from underneath an enclosed porch.
