The best feature of this Umbrella is the rich color. It should be used with a table as the rod is not the most sturdy if standing unsupported. The reason I gave it a 3 rating is because in order to use the tilt feature you have to be either a basketball center or have a ladder. The tilt latch is very high up on the rod.

Good value, but needs to be properly secured. The two hand tightened bolts are not adequate to prevent the umbrella from rotating in even a light breeze. I drilled holes in the support tube so the bolts can be turned into the tube to prevent rotation. Also, the ball and socket connection at the top allows the umbrella to swing in all directions. Any wind is problematic. Attaching bungie cords from the ribs to the support post prevents uncontrolled swinging.

Long ago I paid over $300 for a quality umbrella that had the same functions as this one. It eventually broke... and did not last more than 3 years. This cheap umbrella appears that it will last at least as long if not longer I don't know. The only thing is if you buy it you should accept the fact that it will fade in no time flat. I can deal with the fabric fading so for the price it's ok. I keep mine folded and laying down on the deck when not in use to prevent wind damage. Thus it is faded all on one side...

Almost every table umbrella contains a tie wrap so that folks can secure( from Winds) the umbrella when closed. These ones don't...
