My son is a tall 7 year old wearing a size 3 in these sneakers. He is typically a size 2 or 3 in shoes. These are a great basic sneaker in black. You can dress them up or down. He had a hard time sliding his foot in, but he is still getting used to loosening laces versus Velcro. They have a fashionable look but still subtle. They are comfortable and have a great value. If my kid was not so against shoes with shoelaces, these would be our top pick!! They were super-comfortable (per my son) and seemed like they would be great for any activity. The treads and soles seemed substantial and the style is really cute! My son usually wears a size 1.5-2, these were a size 2 and fit perfectly. One minor criticism is that the shoelaces aren’t very long so I’m not sure we could have fit in a double knot. Otherwise, I loved them! I received an incentive to write this review.

I ordered these tennis shoes for my almost 5 year-old in a size 13. He’s typically in a size 12, but I did just get him a 13 and a different pair of shoes. These tennis shoes are way too big for him to wear now, and would maybe fit in a year. They slip off even with just walking around. My son thought it was pretty cool that he could stand on his toes in these shoes. I like the quality of the shoes and the black is a nice color; they would work well to dress up an outfit. great style and super cute- son loves them because they look like dad's skate shoes. however, approx 2.5 months into wearing them, they have holes in the soles and have proven to have a very short life span. definitely disappointed in the quality. 😬
