Review of the Wahl Edge Pro, Model 9686-300. First thing I noticed was how loud this corded trimmer was. Not necessarily a negative but this trimmer was considerably louder than my normal trimmer of the same size, about on par with full-size clippers. Although advertised mainly as an edger and facial trimmer, I had no problems giving myself a full haircut with the included blade guards. The compact size made it easy to manuever around my entire head in a snap with pleasing results. I found the blade guards a little bit on the flimsy side however they snap on tightly and they don't budge until you remove them. Included in the package are 12 guards, beard brush, scissors, blade oil, cleaning brush, barber comb, and storage case. Overall, very satisfied with this trimmer. Now I wouldn't suggest everyone attempt to cut their own hair with this item, however this is a well made quality product that gives professional results.
