Never worked well

This display kept going black about every 20 minutes for maybe 20 seconds. It kept getting worse and after about three months it died. I sent it in for repair which cost me about $45 for shipping. When it came back, it did turn on and work, but it kept shutting down every 30 minutes for about 20 seconds. Today five months after receiving it back from repair it died again. I’m very disappointed

It was great until.....

6 weeks passed, and it shorted out! There were a bunch of lines through the screen then it wouldn't turn on. I use this for my computer so I can organize all my hospital visits and info so it was super important!! Now I'm screwed!!!

Green vertical line

Had for less than 2 months and a green vertical line has appeared. Opened ticket with Acer which went fine. But, I have to pay the shipping fees to get it to the Tech center to t-shoot it. To ship this will be a 1/3 of what I paid for the monitor.

Deteriorated Quickly.

I was happy with this monitor at first. The picture quality was good and it was easy to set up.Then the screen began to 'bloom' with blue spots that began to appear all over the image area. These would slowly spread, and the center would turn black. They appeared at random, top, bottom, sides and in the center of the screen. Some of the m would appear for a day or two then go away, restoring the image in that area. Others would appear, then spread and remain. Then bands of black about a quarter of an inch wide began to show up. They stretched from the top to bottom. This started to happen exactly 11 days after the manufacturers 90 warranty had expired. This was my first, and will be my last purchase of an Acer product.

Monitor not Recognized by Dell Tower PC - Acer Driver webpage down - no driver updates available

I have a two-monitor set up and the new Acer I purchased periodically cannot be detected by my PC, even though I've tried using Display / Multiple Monitor options/settings. I have run tons of diagnostics on the PC but then searched and discovered issues with the Acer monitor. The recommendation is to check and update drivers. But I can't do that with my PC system tools when it can't discover / detect the monitor, even after rebooting.I cannot even run Intel's Graphic Control Panel and other driver support/health/diagnostics when the monitor cannot be detected at times.Since it works sometimes, know that the cables are all connected correctly. The screen is just dark. Powers up, Acer logo displays then nothing. Not even a message saying "no input." This happens after the computer goes to sleep. But when rebooting, it doesn't fix the issue at times. I can't tell what it is that corrects the problem but none of the display options do.In the photo you'll see my working Acer monitor on the left and the newer Acer monitor on the right - power is on, screen is almost black. So on the Acer website for product support for my model, the driver page "is down" said the tech support person (which connected quickly - short wait. Kudos on that). He had to escalate my request because there is no way to download drivers, no Acer diagnostic tool. (There is a page with past drivers from 2016 for Windows 8, but I am running Win 10.) So I'm on hold for a long time then my call gets disconnected. Not sure what to do next. Writing a warning here was a no-brainer.I do not recommend this monitor.
