The picture on this Acer Screen is not as sharp as other Acer screens I have.

The size is right and the price is good but the picture quality is really poor, in my opinion. I've played with the settings quite a bit and it hasn't helped too much. It's usable as a second work monitor but I'm overall not impressed.

I installed this new monitor next to my previous monitor (also ACER), but this new monitor is very low brightness. I can't work like this, the difference between both is tremendous, I thought there was a plastic that I had to take off the screen but nope there isn't. Maybe I got a defective one, so I will return it and update this review accordingly.

I bought mine for use with an electronics assembly microscope, replacing a Dell unit that was damaged. While this Acer unit is functional, the picture quality is much inferior to the Dell. In particular, the images have a washed-out appearance compared to the Dell: it does not have a rich black point. At this price, I won't complain or exchange it, but I wish that I had made a better choice.

OK for a second monitor to expand your principle one but picture quality makes it undesirable for a main one.

I should've known this was going to be a cheap monitor. But at the time I desperately needed a replacement primary monitor. There's lots of 'gray'ish white' bleeding from the bottom that can go all the way to the center of the screen (depending on your view angle), and some 'black and blue'ish' bleeding from the top. No settings help to minimize it.My advice if you're like me, on a tight budget and in a really bad need for a replacement primary monitor.. save your money. Yes it will hurt, but getting this monitor is a mistake that I regret. And since I cannot drive, I can't get my money back.Get you something that's close to (if not somewhere over) $100. Don't make the mistake I did. I know it sucks but it's better than dealing with this ridiculous light bleed. This monitor shouldn't even be listed until Acer fixes it. Not dissing Acer, as I've bought monitors from them for many, many years. The light bleeding from this is unacceptable, but as they say: you get what you pay for. So don't pay for this. Don't even THINK about paying for this. Save and get a better Acer.

It was not the quality I needed for looking and working with photos. Had it taken back. Now still have an Acer screen, but a larger one and the quality for working with photos is perfect. I have always used Acer screens.

The viewing angle is not great and the display is not very high quality so I wouldn't use it for gaming but I needed a secondary monitor for viewing webpages/spreadsheets and this happens to be vesa compatible so I went for it. My only complaint is how bright the power LED is, it's bad enough that it hurts to look at. Unfortunately the price seems to have jumped up. You can get better monitors for less.

I got this a second monitor to keep an eye on my stream and everything like that, so for my purposes it is perfect and works just fine. If you’re wanting this for gaming, do not get it! It’s very slow and the quality is really bad. It also comes with a strange display port cord, so i would recommend having an extra hdmi cable on hand. My computer did not have the port needed for this cord
