`The Frog Prince` is a famous fairy tale best known by the Brothers Grimm`s written version. It tells a story of a spoiled princess that drops a golden ball into a pond and befriends a frog that can retrieve it for her. Later, the frog magically transforms into a prince. The story has been adapted and changed throughout the years and in some versions the princess kisses the frog to trigger the transformation. This beautiful statue depicts yet another fantastic variation of the story, featuring a pretty little witch perched upon a toadstool. She is holding a frog wearing a prince`s crown, pondering whether or not she should give him that magical kiss. Made of cold cast resin, it measures 8 1/4 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches long, and 5 inches deep. This piece is hand painted, and shows exquisite detail.
