Seems very stable and able to hold an umbrella in fairly stiff winds although we haven't had a lot of wind thus far. The company was easy to deal with since it was sent missing some pieces and they sent another stand immediately.

Need this for a small patio table, and it works fine, it looks made of heave metal kind over 30lbs , it’s heavy enough to keep my umbrella steady in the table. So far all good.

because the bottom is square does not roll but if you are using it to set under a table to support an umbrella I think it is great. the post needs to be screwed into the base. Just make sure the plastic ring is between the base and the support for umbrella, screw in and you are good to go.
