This diffuser has an intermittent option -- which was important to me. It gives out a strong flow of mist. The 1-1/4 cup (300 ml) capacity allows me to run the diffuser for 8+ hours without refilling (on intermittent mode). The top is a matted finish and does not like shiny plastic. The bottom looks like wood. Be sure to place it on a counter or other solid surface -- not a soft surface or carpet. I have had at least 3 other diffusers from the "most popular" essential oil company. This diffuser has worked the best -- longest run time without refilling, and a strong mist. Now I am saving to purchase a second one.

Love this diffuser! It has a great look that helps it blend into the room decor. It runs for 8+ hours on a very small amount of water and makes the house smell wonderful, I would highly recommend it.

I'm an ordinary mom with an ordinary husband, two ordinary boys and an occasionally stinky, over-privileged dog. My house is large, but not huge. My family is neat and clean but, on occasion, the kids and the dog don't smell as fresh as they should. This diffuser was an indulgent purchase during a pandemic. That said, it has exceeded my expectations. First, it fits in nicely with my décor. While made of plastic, it doesn't look cheap and has the appearance of pottery - a matte white top, wood-grain base. It works exactly as described - with a steady stream, or intermittent puffs. I am new to the essential oil craze, but I have found that I can achieve the desired level of serenity with an extra-generous dose of essential oils (also purchased from Target). Because I am in a male dominated household, I leave it on all day, full strength. The result is a serene home that smells fresh - like a field of flowers, not like two stinky boys and a dog.

I bought this diffuser for my home office in March and after two months of running it every weekday, I still love it. The intermittent option and the automatic shut-off are key. Fill the water tank every morning before I start working and run it all day. Plus looks great on my shelf.
