Bought this after returning a noisy unacceptable Danby. This Cuisinart model is quiet and performed superbly right out of the box. Five stars for sure!!!

Definitely love this microwave and it heats food fast

Very quiet. Cooks evenly with less hot spots. Replaced my 13 yr old 1100 watt Kenmore. Only had to make minor time adjustments going from 1100 watt to this 1000 watt. Although slightly bigger dimensions still fits perfectly on my existing cart. For reference I cook fresh/frozen vegetables, entrees, reheating soups etc. The 1-6 min. one-touch buttons + add 30 sec. are very convenient/easy to use. Won't use defrost much as I don't eat meat. Control panel can be placed in deactivate/safety child lock mode to keep little ones from harm. I prefer the handle over the push button. Inside is nice size with good light. Purchased for $69.00 including tax (original $109.99). Exactly what I was looking for. Other than the 5-beep end cycle I wish could be muted/turned off, I would recommend.
