TLDR: If the bra fit, this would be a 5-star shaper. Stats: 5'7; 130 lb.; 34B I bought this shaper to wear under an unforgiving bodycon dress in a light color. From the tummy down, it worked perfectly. It smoothed my belly, hips, and thighs and was absolutely undetectable. Unfortunately, the bra just didn’t fit right. It was too small and too … narrow? The cups didn’t sit over my breasts and smooshed my chest. I’m really disappointed because it would have been almost perfect if the bra was more forgiving. Since I didn’t wear it, I can’t speak to the practicality of the gusset, but I do agree with the reviewer who said that it seemed a little small.

Cups are small. I’m 36C and was spilling. Made my top look flat and awkwardly shaped. In terms of control this had none. It smooths but definitely no control. I looked like a smooth Winnie the Pooh. If I worse this strapless it would definitely fall down. The bra hook in the back makes putting this on extremely awkward. It’s also really high so your strapless dress has to sit high to cover. The bra straps dig into the shoulder and have little support. I would have returned if my brain didn’t stop working and I tore the tags off before trying on.
Very Disappointed
The rest of the garment did fine squeezing me in. But the bust was waaayyy too small. I ordered a size Large according to Targets size chart. But once I put it on, the bust clearly didn't fit. I am disappointed for sure and returning it to the store. Too bad though.

Not at all what I expected. The fabric was soft and I think it would be comfortable for wearing, but that's all the positive I've got. The fabric is thin - see through thin - which means it's not strong enough to "shape" at all. Again, I think it would be comfortable, but it's about as good as a slip and shouldn't be considered shapewear. Also, I was buying one with shorts to not have to worry as much about dancing in a shorter dress. Finding a giant whoo-ha hole makes this a no go. I wouldn't trust going to the bathroom through the hole, and if it's for other purposes, it's more lingere than shapewear again. I don't get the design of this all the way around. Glad I ordered in time to return and find something else.

I wanted this to work, and I typically can wear a L/XL in Assets. Everything under the bra fit, but the bra did not open wide enough to get over my thighs. I wish it had a zipper, because I don’t understand how to get this on without sizing up to a 1x. At that point there would be little shaping capabilities so it would be a waste.

It is a great item but not if you have large breasts. I was looking for something to smooth everything out. I wear a small but I’m a DD so I got a medium. I can’t return it because I already wore it. Luckily I was wearing a jacket because my breasts were squished and under my arms (slight exaggeration) but still not pretty. I will try to cut out breast area and see if I can still wear with my own bra. Except for the bra area, it was extremely comfortable.

Fit is fine, but shaping for boobs is pointy and not natural looking.

Not saying I have a big butt but I and with this on it’s all gone. Also, uncomfortable interrupt seams have irritated my legs and boob area doesn’t work too well without the straps

Pros: Soft fabric and comfortable around the thighs. Cons: The bodysuit didn't hug anything in. I bought it to smooth out my stomach area and the spanx didn't do anything - it was like a thin layer of sheer nylon. The built in bra was also odd. It was too small and smushed my boobs in an unflattering way. I decided to return it.

I needed it to wear it strapless, if your going to stay still all night it was great once I started to dance it would fall down and I looked like a goat with four boobs
