Instead of adding hardwire lighting, I switched out the bulbs in an unfinished basement eith these lights. They were the perfect solution. Did not rate longevity as I’ve only had them for a few months.

I have two LED lights. One in my garage and the other in my closet...just screw it in a socket just as you would a lightbulb.

I love that the product gives very bright, flexible light in a work area for very little use of electricity. Yah!! It's just what I needed above the washer in my basement. I can now see grease stains on clothes before I wash them. I have no idea how long the lights will last, but LEDs usually last a good amount of time.

These are a great alternative. I was looking to add 6-8 5000 lumens led light in my garage. The challenge was my ceiling was finished and I didnt want to see cords on the ceiling. I had two light recepticals already installed. I thought I'd give these a try and am glad I did. Two give me almost exactly the light I was hoping for. My light sockets are a little more towards the back of the garage so the front is not quite as bright, but I can live with that. I belive I saw one set a little brighter I would buy if I ever need to replace these, but am very happy with the light they give.

We initially liked the light (ordered two but was more than bright enough in the garage with one) but, after almost exactly two months of intermittent use, the light started to flicker and "crackle" when first turned on and felt warm. We replaced it with the other one and will see what happens. Unfortunately we missed the return deadline so looks as though there is nothing we can do. UPDATE: The second one is no better than the first, actually worse because we only used it for ONE month when it started to do the same thing the first one did. Had we known we would get less than three months of use from them, we never would have purchased them. UPDATE: After trying other lights in the same fixture and having them do the same thing, we finally decided that perhaps our fixture was bad. We replaced it and tried the lights again and, so far so good! They seem to be working. Assuming that this was the problem and not the lights themselves, I would like to apologize to the seller for badmouthing the product.

This transformed my dark basement into a light, bright place where my teens immediately wanted to hang out! So bright and clean looking! I ordered two more for my garage!

I got this because the diffuser (white plastic cover) made it look less harsh than most of the others. It is used as a room light in a basement. I thought a lot of them looked a little too utilitarian. This one looks nice. It went on easily and it is brighter than what was there by a good bit. It is a cool white light. It is visibly cooler than the warm bulb-type LEDs that are near it. If I were looking to improve this light, I would give it a warm color setting. For the price, though, this is a great light.

Again, the billing process was a nightmare. I received three to four emails each with a different amount needing to be paid. Fortunately, I have an accounting background so I was able to figure it out. I have spent several hours (yea, SEVERAL hours) emailing Amazon to explain the situation all the time receiving emails in return stating "this is a non-staffed email address......do not expect a reply. I finally made telephone contact (again only after several frustrating attempts) speaking to Lindsey, who informed me I had been billed for $10.37, the amount I was expecting. Hopefully, Lindsey is correct. The real problem, however is this is not the first time I've experience this dilemma with Amazon's billing!!!!!!!!
