I got my S7 Max Ultra today and so far it’s been pretty amazing. Setup was less than 5 minutes. A couple things I’ve noticed so far: - it’s pretty loud. Like you couldn’t sleep in the bedroom while this thing is going in the next room. - I really wish it came with the floor cleaner. The fact I had to order that separately was pretty annoying. Apart from those things, it works like a charm. It does very well navigating around furniture. It can get over high pile rugs just fine. And the mopping is amazing. I could easily see giving this as a gift to family or anyone who doesn’t want to deal with vacuuming and mopping.

I got my roborock S7 Max Ultra for a week. I'm sharing several noticeable points in terms of the experience compared to irobot Roomba j7+. - Navigation&Mapping: Roborock S7 Max Ultra > Roomba j7+, e.g., roborock builds the map in 10 mins, while Roomba j7+ takes at least one hour. - General Obstacle avoidance: Roborock S7 Max Ultra > Roomba j7+. - Wire avoidance: Roomba j7+ > Roborock S7 Max Ultra. Although the wire avoidance performance of Roomba j7+ is not satisfactory, Roborock S7 Max Ultra will chew all your wires, shown in the Figure below. In short, set your no go-to zone or clean your wires in advance. - Self-cleaning: Clean dock so far. - Self-drying: Always dry after 3 hours. - Mopping: Satisfactory. - Noise: I generally use it when I'm outside. - Carpet cleaning: Satisfactory. It won't wet high-pile carpet, shown in the Figure below. - Hair cleaning: Good. Need to clean your main brush regularly. - Water tank size: Somehow smaller than I expected. I need to clean and refill it per 3-4 days. I know we can choose automatically draining & refilling version in China (G10 pure), why not here? Overall, it is satisfactory, 5 stars.

I absolutely love my new Roborock S7 Max Ultra. I have owned an iRobot for years and when it finally died, I decided to try this model instead. It does not disappoint. We have 2 dogs so there is always dirt and fur in our house. It has always felt like a beach in our kitchen even though we ran our old unit every day. I run my S7 Max Ultra daily and mop 3 times a week. My floors are SO much cleaner. I love all of the features. I love not having to empty the bin after every cleaning. I love that it mops. Even my husband said it was worth the money.
