I bought this for my Nana, she needed a new garden bag and the reason I picked this was the purple flowers on the bottom, they reminded me of her. I didn't think she would want all the tools but I was wrong. I knew she already had her own tools but she was really excited about the new tools, some of which she did not have. She thought the digging gloves were very cool, so did her sister and she thought the bag was almost too pretty to use for a garden bag. She loved the design of the bag, as for the sturdiness I guess I will have to make an update after she uses it for a while.

As a novice gardner I found this set of garden tools to be quite exciting, which may seem silly to those with more experience. It was fun to discover each tool and use it first hand to see the results. Gardening can be a rewarding experience, but like many things, you only get out of it what you put in. Being that as a may, this tool set is a great addition to any one who enjoys gardening, whether experienced or just starting out.

This set is so cute. I ordered it as a Christmas gift for my mom who loves to garden. I pulled everything out of the box to check it before gifting and was really impressed with the quality of the tools and bag. The tools are made from a nice heavy metal that won't easily bend and the tools themselves seem sturdy, with wide handles. They are comfortable to hold and decently sized. The bag has neat stitches and the pockets on the front seem plenty deep enough to hold the tools. My mom was thrilled.

The set came nicely packaged with each tool in a plastic sleeve. Other reviewers mentioned the smell of the gloves and I noticed that as well but after being opened the smell dissipates and I don't feel this takes away from the product at all. As depicted I had HUGE elephant ear (just what I call them) weeds growing that needed to be removed. The weeder quickly got the weed out (picture 2) and you can see just how thick the root is (picture 3). The weeder gets the entire root by being long enough to go deep into the soil and being strong enough to swirl around the root in the dirt to loosen it and be able to pull it out. Of course the left glove was perfect for keeping my hands from getting dirty and though I did not use the right glove that time I would have used it if I needed to clear soil away to get the whole root. One thing about the digging glove is it is for right handed people so left handed people may find it awkward. The bag is feminine and pretty and I enjoy that very much. I was able to put a lot of items inside the bag that I need when I am taking care of all outdoor weeds and plants. I was able to put the following into the tote bag: a small bag of perlite, extra tools, miracle grow products, and towels and I still had room. No doubt you could use the bag to collect your harvest too! So many ways you could use this based on personal needs. The tools have a nice weight to them and I was able to hold them even though I have muscle wasting in my hand. The pruning shears worked perfectly for a variety of tasks including cutting small saplings that sprouted up. The transplanting tool was perfect for repotting my indoor plants and the spray bottle held just the right amount of water needed to mist all of my indoor plants. With the quality of the tools and the sturdy tote bag I can see this being used for years to come. It would make a great gift for anybody for any occasion or just because.
