They took a year off last year. I like to have the calendar month at the begining and it is very nice to have the day by day planner at the back. The best feature is the pocket in the back, I use that to carry any bills or essentials. I love the beautiful folkart pictures and I like to see pictures that go with holidays and events month by month. In past years it was a little bigger and I did like that better but over all I still love this planner!! -Kat
