Very nice and easy install lock system, video installation was super useful, thanks! I’ve never trusted smart locks, however this one seems to be reliable, since you have to use key or phone to unlock it.

It took longer to receive the item, but this product is great! A bit hard to install on your own. It would be much easier if you have someone hold it for you, but it is doable by yourself. The lock works great! No more looking for keys in my handbag! Definitely recommend it!

I had purchased this LU06 lock back in April of this year. A few weeks ago, I lost communication between my cell phone and my lock. Wendy helped me get a replacement event lock and now it is working. I do not normally write product reviews but I do want to acknowledge the outstanding customer support from Wendy.

The quality of the this lock at this price is great. Nothing to complain about it.However, when it arrived, there was no seal or plastic wrap outside the box, which is a bit sketchy. Usually for electronics you have a sealed package to ensure the device was never used. I contacted customer service, and was told it was indeed packed like this. So this is something to know.Another thing is the product picture. On that it looks like it’s for doors that have deadbolt and spring lock the same time, but it was only for the deadbolt. If you have both and don’t feel comfortable leaving the spring turning lock on the whole time, it is not for you.The lock itself is good LaView quality. Comes with a little white relay that once you plugged into power, you can pair with it. Then the lock showed up in my LaView app. However, when I powered off the little relay block, lock became non-usable. I am not reading the manual or digging into that, so I don’t know what that is about. If it requires a detailed reading on the manual, the learning curve is there. But apparently, people will power on everything comes with the package, so this is just something I am experimenting with.Lock and unlock requires press and hold on the button, no easy to operate with a mistake. It auto locks it in a few minutes, 3 minutes if recall correctly, which is a plus, or not? I start to imagine some people got locked out lol But it will never happen if you have your phone with you, so yes, it’s the year of 2022, always carry your phone.Overall at this price, it’s a decent deadbolt door lock. Will I use it? Yes, it’s convenient and high quality. But always remember its limit when picking your own.I would usually give product like this 4 stars, but I am a LaView fan already, sold to their extremely looooooong battery life outdoor cameras, so it’s still a solid 5 star product!

Had to order twice. The first time, the bluetooth gateway was missing and the unit didn't power on so I returned it. The second time, the unit also didn't power on. The problem was the metal piece in the battery compartment didn't come in contact with the positive battery terminal. I used a tool to pull it out and voila. 3 stars for the lock but 5 stars for Joe who provided great customer service throughout the process.

**UPDATE**--- i changed my review from 1 star to 4 because of the company's customer service. They sent me another lock, and this one worked.Angela answered all my questions. I had issues with calibration and she helped me out with them. I'm glad they have good customer service. The lock works just fine!-----I had high hopes for this device however I ended up ordering it twice because the first time it failed to turn on. I followed the instructions and the video provided perfectly and everything went smooth. I made sure the batteries were brand new when I inserted them, I even tried switching the batteries a couple times buying multiple Brands making sure they weren't rechargeable batteries just like instruction said. The lock still didn't turn on. So I returned it and I ordered a new lock. Same exact thing happened. I know I can't be doing anything wrong because I followed the video instruction, unless the video is wrong then it is very bad luck that I thought two devices that were faulty And did not turn on. On top of that the second device that I ordered was used, it came in a bubble wrap instead of its original container . So that discouraged me even more from ordering a third one just to see if I could get lucky . I have so many cameras from this company that I wanted this lock to add to my addition because the cameras work so well. Unfortunately that was not the case. Other people seem to like it I just got bad luck but I'm not placing a third order.
