i Just Bought the Epson ET 2850 Echo Tank used for $24.99 at Value Villiage in Sudbury Ontario Canada Today and it Didn't have a Power Cord for it i had to buy one for $1.99 and i set it up a couple of hours ago it need the software to installed it on windows 10 and no problems with it just need the ink for it to filled it up to replace my laser printer lexmark

For home use, even heavy home use, this printer is the BOMB. The 'haters' should be disregarded. I have a long history of using various printers. The former ET2700 lasted years of reliable home, wifi and mobile use without a hiccup. When we upgraded to the ET2850, we were thrilled that the changes all made a great workhorse better. They improved the ink loading, added a good app to connect the printer to wifi. All Good!!

The initial setup was almost flawless, I did have to enter my wifi manually. probably due to my unusual name (Pretty Fly for a WI-FI) LOL. The Epson ET-2850 is not the first product to give me problems with this. Total setup time was 20 minutes via the Android app. I am running the windows 11 preview on my PC and was surprised to find windows had detected and set up automatically. This is the most fluid setup I have used to date. The epson app for the phone is very simple to use and offers many features that are handy for the new home office atmosphere. Scan and copy features are easy to use and have fairly intuitive software for ease of use. Photos initially print a little on the dark side but with proper tweaking vibrant prints are possible. The eco tank speaks for itself. I have had previous models with this style of ink and I can't express enough how efficient it is. any user will notice the difference in cost savings. The EcoTank ET-2850 is a great home printer that provides excellent print quality, fast print speeds, All in One features, wireless networking with AirPrint, a great mobile app, auto two-sided printing, and tons of ink. I really have come to love how long these eco tank printers run without messing with new ink, it reduces printer hassles immensely and really does save me money over time. Setup of the printer was quick and easy, with a nice startup guide I was up and running in about 15 minutes. The loading of ink is a very easy and clean process, Epson has really thought this part through nicely, so you can get to printing quick. Print image quality is great and I love the addition of the auto two-sided printing to help save paper. While it does slow the printing down a bit, overall I would say the print speed is still quite quick. The color display and menus are easy to navigate and get to printer controls and settings. The Epson Smart Panel app is a simple to use app with great features, I like being able to see details about the printer and maintenance items right in the app and can even control printer functions remotely like scanning and copying which this printer also does well. Overall, I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a full featured all in one. I have been using the new Epson EcoTank ET-2850 for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with the quality and quantity I am able to print. Starting with the biggest feature of this printer; the Ecotank! Gone are the need for cartridges and having them go dry right when you need them. Having a refillable tank makes it extremely simple and easy to always have the ink when you need it. I have been printing non stop and I still have yet to refill these tanks. While it does show that I have used a small amount of ink, the tanks are pretty large and hold a lot! Each color has its own bottle of ink that comes with the printer and it states that its enough ink to last up to two years! I believe that with how much I have been printing and how little the ink levels have gone down. Next, it prints automatically on both sides!! This is huge for me. I do a lot of document printing and being able to save paper and print on both sides is great! This is a great feature that I have not seen on a lot of printers. I love the fact that this is a wireless printer! I got it connected with wifi and everything in my home (including ipads and iphones) immediately were able to connect and print to this printer. Super simple and no extra setup was needed. How's that for ease of use?! Last but not least, what makes this an all in one, the flatbed scanner! Using it with the on device control is very simple as well as using the Epson Scan software. All in all I am extremely impressed with this device.
