Not for sensitive skin

This works well but I had a reaction to it which caused bumps, itch, redness and peeling which have lasted for over a week and is still not better. I have used this brand before and not had a problem so I'm not sure what caused this.

Sticky mess

I thought the sticky mess was because of my inexperience with waxing by myself, but it turns out it isn't, it's the product. I tried using both thick and thin layers of wax, and both leave a mess... it works better with thin layers though. You will waste a bunch of waxing strips, because you will have to redo most of the areas at least twice, and that irritates my very sensitive skin A LOT. So yes, it will leave a mess behind, but the reason I'm giving it 3 stars it's because it somewhat leaves the job done. If you want to remove the sticky mess, use baby oil and a rub any cotton fabric against it, it will do the job perfectly.

NOT a hard wax

This is old style wax, very soft. You have to use strips or it comes off really difficult. If you want hard wax that can be removed without strips don't buy this.

Hard to wash off afterwards.

It works fine but very hard to wash off the residue. I washed my hands couple times with soap and used to exfoliating brush, it still there. I applied petroleum jelly but the wax is not getting off some parts. Worst part is while waxing i dropped a little on floor and its not getting off any way. So frustrated.

Really great product removes thick, coarse hair, but extremely difficult to remove.

I have been using this product since July 2021. GiGi All Purpose Honee Hair Removal Soft Wax for All Skin and Hair Types, 14 oz is a good product. This wax gets the job done by removing my coarse, thick hair (face). The soft wax option works well and is strong enough to be used at least 2-3 times once on waxing pads. However, this product is extremely sticky, gets everywhere, and is very hard to remove (wash off). I use warm water and Okay Pure Naturals Clear Skin Facial Scrub Natural Extract of Apricot and Sugar to remove the wax, but even that is still difficult to remove wax from my face. Waxing your face is irritating enough as it is and having to use a face scrub to remove the wax adds to the irritation. It also gets everywhere on the sink and is impossible to remove with cleaning products. This brand needs to re-think their product by making it easier to wash off.

Crazy sticky - forever! - a Love/Hate relationship

After years of fussing with gigi Brazilian hard wax, I finally tried their famous all purpose honee. I'm fairly pleased with how effective it is, and how it's much less fussy than something like Moom sugar wax. But dang is it MESSY! First, the package arrived a total mess, covered in product. Second, never use this without gloves unless you want to have sticky wax on your hands for days. Third, it made a mess on the inside of my wax warmer even though I was careful. Fourth, I went through quite a few of my waxing strips just trying to get it off. Oh yeah, and your skin in the waxed areas will be feeling the stickiness even after dabbing with a fresh strip and then wiping down with mineral oil. Bonuses: it's one of the less painful waxes I've used. It doesn't seem to be sensitive to humidity (like Moom), nor really picky about timing (like gigi Brazilian hard). But I'm pretty happy with how it performed, even for a bikini and Brazilian wax. I guess I'll try another wax... After I get a new warmer.

It still leaves wax on skin

1) after putting the cloth strip on the wax and ripping the wax off it still leaves some wax there and I know that happens sometimes and little is still there but this was excessive 2) its not hot wax. more like warm wax. idk if its the wax or my warmer but I have the Gigi warmer so idk why it wouldn't work with Gigi wax. 3) DO NOT USE THIS FOR BIKINI. I used it only for my lip and chin and occasionally my happy trail but DO NOT use this on bikini area. I broke out and it was hard to get the rest of the wax off 4) this stuff is hella hella messy. the only reason im giving it a three star is because it takes off all of my hair on my lip and chin its just a pain to deal with this wax and its more like a chore to prepare to wax

Popped blood vessels and ripped off a layer of skin

Okay I knew soft wax was sticky, but I guess it was my bad for expecting this to dissolve in water. It's incredibly difficult to remove even with oil. I got the best results attempting to remove it with 90% rubbing alcohol. Considering there is no easy way to remove the wax I would not recommend this for beginners. I had the worst time trying to get wax off my fingers, it was a miserable experience. Not only that, but after my first strip with this wax I noticed it left weird purple marks that looked like instantaneous bruising or a popped blood vessel maybe? (See attached photos) It also tore off a layer of skin in two sections as well. Let me be clear this was from one strip over this area, this wasn't the result of waxing the same area twice (which you're NOT supposed to do). It wasn't hot enough to burn me either so I have no idea what I did wrong. I honestly just can't stress enough how difficult this wax is to remove. Imagine yourself with sections of your skin feeling like you fell into a human size sticky trap and you're sitting there - sticky and sweaty - for 10 minutes rubbing oil trying to get it off. It's a super uncomfortable experience and if you get it on a towel or something say goodbye to that towel. I'll definitely be sticking with hard wax for now.

Fine!

It works Good and clean all the hair but gives a hard time to remove it from skin. I use a oil to remove it from my skin which I got with my another honey was but still not able to clean all the wax from skin. I am waxing my body hair from 8 years. I think i would go with sally Hensen honey wax. It really cleans all the haor from skin but because of it gives hard time to remove wax from skin I would not go with it.
