Wife says - This is a refill and lasts for a long time. After a year or so of re-heating, my wax will got stringy and needed to be replaced. This wax works well and lasts a loong time. The only thing I would change is the plastic lid. The lid cracks after a month or so because it gets stuck to the can and brittle. One star off for the lid.

I am going to school for cosmetology so we learned how to wax and I loved it so much I thought I would buy everything for home use! This wax gets the job done but I feel that there are better choices out there. This wax smells kind of funky, not bad just odd.. the wax its self works pretty well, the only problem I really have with it is related to ripping it off with the wax strips. It is a soft wax so you need to use the fabric wax strips to remove the wax. Wax strips are expensive and you are suppose to be able to use one strip on about 5 different sections (rips) before throwing the wax strip away. This wax however, does not stick to itself well, meaning that you can only use 1 strip for 2 different rips.. I found it pretty disappointing so I took a star away for what would have been a 5 star product. Also, you are always suppose to use oil or baby powder on your skin before you lay down the wax and the oil didn't work as well for me as the baby powder did on this particular product. Other than all that, the wax got the job done, I will probably try a different one next time though.

Works good... Compared to sugaring is a bit more painful at first but later as hair grows thinner it will hurt less, besides that maybe you are getting used to it... Nonetheless, whether you'll use this wax or sugar wax, remember to always apply baby powder to the area you will epilate... We have found that this wax removes more hair per application than the sugar wax so maybe that why it hurts more, but we use it mainly for the arm pit for that same reason, one pull and all the hair is gone... On the cleaning side be careful as you will not be able to clean it easily by just using water or soapy water... petroleum jelly works OK... if you are going to clean a hard surface you can also use nail polish remover, just don't do it on the skin as the are you just epilated will be very sensitive and ... just don't do it... on the skin use petroleum jelly rubbing gently... We use this all purpose wax for mostly anything besides bikini area... for bikini area we use a home-made sugar wax as it hurts less and it's easier to clean (using plain water vs using petroleum jelly)...

I have sensitive skin, and this wax works for me. I recently found that wax with fragrance irritates my skin, and this one must not have fragrance because it doesn't irritate it even on my arms, which have been before sunburned, and are my problem area. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because, if it came in a roll on wax, it would be perfect. Roll on wax is just so much easier. I also hate hard wax because it's so hard to apply.

This product is okay if you know what you’re doing. I bought this product to wax my legs. I’ve always used hard wax and it took too much time to remove the hair so I bought this thinking it would be easier and faster. I think the hard wax is better for beginners like me. Maybe eventually I’ll learn how to use this product. The attempts I made were somewhat successful. I did remove some of the hair but I had to go over it a few times to get the product off my skin. It was just a sticky and messy experience. Also, I recently watched a YouTube review video from HK Wax Center and they do not recommend this product so I guess it’s not just my unskillfulness that made me not a big fan of this.

Originally bought this to wax my brows. Doesn't work well for that or any other hairs that are thick. The consistancy if very soft even even when completely hardened. Basically, the wax will not harden enough to be able to use it without fabric strips. After warming it up its practically liquid and the color looks like honey. It is also super sticky. With that said, I ended up using it for my leg hairs instead for which it worked wonderfully. For those looking to wax your brows I would recommend GIGI's hard wax instead.

This is some great wax. I was skeptical to try it after using hard wax for some time. Surprisingly I really liked it. I have not used hard wax since I discovered this one. I also have not been to the salon for a wax since purchasing this the first time months ago. It can be messy if You don’t use it right. I have had no problems getting any extra off my skin. It will take some time and effort to get it off of hard surfaces. I accidentally got some on the edge of my sink and it took quite a bit of time to get it off but it is doable.

First timer at waxing.... not anymore I guess. Been at it for almost a year now. I use this on my face and legs. My skin is sensitive everywhere about I have hurtuism so oh well. The wax has fallen on hardwood floors and sinks. It's honestly kind of hard to get off but not that bad. It's gotten on a shirt once A NEW SHIRT it washed off in the laundry so idk what to say. Tip your not supposed to heat it up till its runny. If it gets runny let it cool off. The wax is not the problem its you lol. Anyways I think it's better than the ready wax strips.

I spend 25 dollars every 2 weeks to wax my face in the nail salon. I spent 11 dollars for a whole pot of wax. Who is the winner here!? This will last me forever. This is the first time I wax and let me tell u... practice first!! I waxed my finger/knuckle area to test it out and the trick is using a thin layer of wax. Like seriously thin enough where u wonder if it's enough wax and u feel like u should apply more. Don't!! I also put the machine on medium the whole time. Please don't put it on high and wax with super hot wax and wonder why you just burned yourself. I also used fantasea non woven wax strips with this and its way better than the muslin roll. The adhere better and a little more stiff you you have more control. I will never go to the wax place ever again. Yes it is a little sticky but what wax isn't? Use alcohol right after u wax to prevent bumps and burns and then go over it with a little baby oil for the residue and to calm your skin down. Moisturizing after agitating your skin like that is key to a beautiful result.

Satin smooth is better than this one! This one is really really runny and it’s not even that hot. It spreads nice but when you wax it’s very sticky.
