I liked this wax it did the job, but it was kinda messy I guess because it was my first time waxing myself.. I don’t know. But it’s good

This wax does the job. Needs to be heated up thoroughly, which with the heater of the same brand takes about an hour. It does the job I need it to.

Good general all purpose depilatory wax. Metal on the canister means requires a warmer to heat.

I had previously ordered one & was impressed & hence reordered when i ran out of my previous purchase. The best thing about GIGI All Purpose Honee is that it doesn't sugar up after heating up a few times like other wax boxes do. Though this is not as strong on the skin as other GIGI wax, you have to be careful or u r likely to pull some skin off too...

I purchased this along with a wax warmer, collars, and muslin. Buying the roll of muslin is the way to go, and it's absolutely necessary for soft wax like this. Without it you'll just wind up being a sticky mess, and I'm assuming that's where a lot of the negative reviews are coming from. A hard wax would do better for bikini and leg waxing, but this is great for finer hair (facial and arm waxing). It just broke off all my leg hair and I'll be using hard wax for that next time, but I also have extremely coarse leg hair and I'm not holding that against the wax. Did a great job on my eyebrows, upper lip, and my husbands back. If you don't know how to wax, buy an informational dvd don't just wing it!

Overall, I'm very pleased with this wax. Getting my technique right was hard; I've mostly used hard waxes previously, so getting the wax the right thickness on my skin to adhere to the strip but pull off neatly was a trick. Once I did, however, this took the hair off my legs quite nicely, and with no more pain than you'd expect. This is incredibly sticky, but by twirling the applicator stick (think fork in spaghetti) I avoided any drips. That 45 degree angle instruction is key in good application to your skin. I didn't notice reside in the areas that had come off cleanly with a strip, but in areas where I'd accidentally spread the wax wider than the strip I was using, there was obviously residue on the sides. I found that I could either place a clean are of the strip there and pull the wax up that way, or use another company's oil removal product (just because I haven't bought GiGi's yet. The only reason I've giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is now the can arrived. It must have been tipped on its side or something, because the wax was badly adhered to the can's lid, and when opened, it got wax *everywhere*. It took half an hour to clean my hands enough that I could even start waxing. That was seriously annoying. It didn't particularly affect the amount in the can, just was irritating. I had to toss the can lid, and now I'm just leaving it in the warmer with the top on when I'm not using it.

It’s super hard to take the lid off and there was wax all over the outside of the container

This wax is a great brand and this was our first time buying the all purpose wax. There is a slight learning curve if you have never used wax.

Love this wax! I bought a warmer with hard wax beads and it wasn’t pulling all the hair out. Bought this and it works perfect! Just like the salon for my eyebrows.... however, I needed to use rubber gloves to get it into the warmer cause it’s very messy! I’ll always use this product, no need to try another
