I used this probably 3-4 times a week for a month and the pressure got worse and worse until it eventually just stopped working. I put in new batteries, and still nothing. Don’t waste your money.

Purchased this 6 weeks ago and the batteries have exploded twice in the last 2 weeks. This unit is used by a 12yr old for their braces. Not happy about the exploding batteries that leak out of the unit.
Solstice
I returned this Waterpik the day after I bought it. 1. The spray was too hard on my gums even in the lower setting. 2. The spray went everywhere. I got soaked, the mirror got soaked, the sink and counter top. 3. I reread the instructions and tried again. 4. You're supposed to keep the waterpik vertical while bending over the sink. 5. I think what would help is an on/off button you pushed. Then you could position the Waterpik by the tooth, press the button and have water come out. Release the button to stop the water flow and move to next tooth. As it is. with water jetting out continuously, it's like having the hose on when you drop it and it wiggles everywhere. There is an on/off switch, of course, but it's a slider switch which also controls the amount of water intensity. The positives are that the green color I purchased was very attractive; it was easy to assemble; the instructions were easy to follow, written with both words and pictures, and the return to Target was easy.

Can't recommend this water flosser. It's the first water flosser I've ever tried and am now back to regular floss. The flosser worked really well for the first few days of use, but its power deteriorates pretty quickly until it dies, requiring new batteries. In the weeks before it dies, it's too weak to do much good. I replaced the batteries in mine a couple times within a couple months, but it's not worth constantly buying new batteries. It's definitely a disappointing buy.

This thing worked well when it actually worked. However that was not often because the batteries would start dying after about a week (expect to go through a lot of batteries) and then after 2 months the entire thing just died. It looks like water somehow got into the battery chamber even though it was sealed. Do yourself a favor and get a rechargeable water flosser.
Disappointed
It’s not worth one star. Only had it for two months now it doesn’t work.

I used it for like a few months and stopped working randomly one day

Won’t turn on even after changing batteries.

bought early june - started slowing down so i replaced batteries and it didn’t help. it’s been just over a month and it’s not powerful enough to floss anymore. wasted money :(

Had it less than a year and first it slowed down, I replaced the batteries and then it just stop working all together
