It doesn't move back and forth. They only twist and swing arms. It's more of a game of chance than strategy.

The Sharper Image Robot Combat Set is fun to play with and easy to set up. You get 1 red robot, 1 Green robot and 2 remote controls. Each robot requires 3 AA batteries and each remote control requires 2 AAA batteries which aren't included. The robots have eyes that light up and combat sounds. There is a choice of two game modes dual mode or single mode versus AI. In AI single player mode you control your robot to attack your opponent which is controlled by the computer. Your opponent will defend and attack automatically. The kids love battling it out. It's so good to see my kids playing together and having so much fun playing with these robots. We all take turns playing. It's so much fun for the whole family. I definitely recommend this.

I purchased this for my son and he and his brother are having so much fun. Its the fun of a controller but in real life vs a video game. They get to act out their roughhousing without the roughhousing. This is a winner in my book! They are bigger than I expected and wheel around pretty good on the floor. I do wish the batter lasted a bit longer. Overall a great toy

Got this for my kids and they absolutely love it . Great you awesome features would ten out of ten recommend . The boys love it and they are awesome quality . Kinda reminds me of rock em sock em robots

Fun game to entertain kids away from the TV a bit. High quality. Great entertainment for lots of ages. I was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be fun and easy to use. My 9 year son and 13 year old daughter like using it.

I got this Toy RC Robot Knockout and my kids absolutely love it. I love that they can play together and they use their imagination while playing and it instills creativity and imagination in my kids. They will play this and it is a joy to watch.
