Soft and warm but not heavy. Perfect on cool Spring nights on the porch.

I suffer from severe anaphylaxis from numerous medicines, environmentals and chemicals. When I have a reaction my core temperature rises and when I am coming down from it I literally feel like I am freezing to death. I have worn my winter coat in 95° weather with my teeth chattering and have slept in it as well. I needed something that wasn't as bulky, but carried the same warmth as my coat. Sherpa is synthetic wool and mimic the heat retention that I need when this happens. And it happens more than I care to admit. Imagine not being able to hug someone because you could have a reaction from their laundry detergent or bath product. Sometimes I can't help hugging someone that I know will send me into anaphylactic shock. Especially if I haven't seen them in a long time. I highly recommend this blanket. It's super warm and the hood is very convenient for cool nights or a warm head hug, lol. I will be buying the longer one from here next time since I am 6'0" tall and like my legs covered too. Bought this as a gift for a very picky recipient. He loved it. Walks around the house with it buttoned on his shoulders ( which is his favorite part, it doesn’t fall off) with the hoodie up. The Pom Pom balls on the strings are cute as ever. It’s long enough and big enough to snuggle into with a big plus of pockets for his phone and remote. Wish I’d found it sooner.

I ordered the Kensie Sherpa Lined Hoodie for my roomie for Christmas. She absolutely loves it as it is toasty warm in our cold winter climate. When I saw it, I had to order one for myself, and I love the warmth of it too. It is well made and fits my entire 5'1". When I am in my recliner I put my feet in the hood and pull the blanket up to my chin. It is great. Because I was so taken with this robe, I order two more for friends....and now have established the "blue riding hood club". You can't go wrong with this robe. Also fast delivery.
