I ordered 3X and these say 3X on the tag. I bought them this size because I wanted these big and comfy with a little more room in them to lounge in than usual. BUT, all 3 pair were WAY to small. I normally buy a 2X, and these were much smaller than any of those. They were 4" less around the waste than a 2X and also 2" shorter in length. I would say that they would compare more to a XL than a 3X. The ties at the waste only stuck out about 1-1/2", and when you try to put them on, both ties disappear back inside the waste band. Of course the ties are not needed because the fit is already much to tight. I would say that if you order these you should order at least 2 sizes bigger than you would normally and maybe they will fit. I have had nothing but good luck on my many orders from Tanga, but going forward I will not be buying any kind of clothing from this site. My lesson was learned here.
