My daughter wanted Model Magic, and we thought this product would be the same. It's not. The material is very "foamy," and it's very difficult to work with and shape. The photos in the booklet it comes with shows perfectly smooth balls that are not possible to create. Either they photoshopped the pictures or they created them when the product was perfectly fresh. When we received it, it did not seem very fresh and was quite hardened in some of the containers. It also didn't stretch very well, but would break apart pretty quickly. My daughter was crying an upset because we weren't able to recreate any of the idea included in the kit, which shouldn't have been that hard to make. We are very disappointed.

This was a HOT MESS when I opened up the box and a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT for the kids and I...some of the containers were partially opened, leaking, dried up, and some of the “modeling clay” was super sticky and just not modeling clay material at all. Sent back right away!

2-propenoic acid (acrylic acid) is known to be toxic if swallowed. You need to supervise your child using this clay and ensure thorough washing of hands after. None of this is even hinted in the description or instructions. Residue on hands has to be removed before touching food!Another ingredient that the seller is describing in answers to customers (but not listed on the box) is "poly." Needless to say, that's the first part of a chemical's name, but doesn't actually name the chemical. It's likely Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or some other crazy toxic stuff they don't want to reveal.

Just arrived. 5 containers are partially open with the clay sticking out. Don't know if any of those will be usable. Gave 1 star. Might amend later.

Product arrived with several lids open lending the clay inside to harden and render unusable. Kind of a pain to have to go through the whole returning and reordering process.

This clay was easy to work with to make the little creatures with my grandchildren. We made little monsters and snakes. Then a few hours later, I hear them scream. Mimi, the animals got squished. They had not been squished. The had deflated. They had LOST THEIR SHAPES Would not recommend this clay. I have used other clays, and been very satisfied.

The box shows different colors of clay than you actually receive. On the back in small print it lists the colors you receive, and that's what you get. The box prominently shows purple and orange, neither of which you get.On top of that, the dinosaur figures are warped and do not fit on the stands at all. The stands are super cheap and have indents where the dino feet should sit, but they don't match the actual dinos. We immediately threw those away because there was nothing we could do to fix them.Lastly, the dino figures are molds. I thought they were models that you build and then cover in clay, but they come preformed. That's on me because I didn't pay close enough attention to the photos and listing, but I wanted to point it out for any other mama hoping to get an activity that would last longer than 20 minutes and cater to a wider age range.
