We paid for new but received an open box steamer. You could tell by the box and packaging or lack there of. We tried it out and it worked. We just kept it. It isn't worth the hassle to return.

I got a used Conair Turbo Extreme Steam steamer. There were water droplets in the reservoir tank, there was no twistie around the cord, the plastic bag with the attachments was open, and the box it came in was not sealed. It was advertised as new. Very disappointing. The only good thing was the price.
