I got this as a gift for my niece. She was so happy and enjoyed painting the pots and planting the seeds. They have successfully started sprouting and I can't wait to see them flower. I hope this gift has also planted a seed for the love of gardening! (Pun intended)

I have a friend who had a stroke and lost use of right hand which is his dominant hand. He is painting them with a blooming cactus, mountain/valley scene and then ocean. We love them

It's a gift but they liked it

So much fun! Our granddaughter loved this gift! She’s loves to learn how things grow and this has an art component added to the mix, which is brilliant!

This was a gift for my niece and she loves it! She's excited to paint the pots and plant her own flowers.

I purchased this to do with my grandchildren ages 3 and 5. I thought it would be a project that could be done in an hour or so. You paint the flower pots, fill them with soil, place in the seeds, and water. Not so! I didn't realize that after the pots are painted...you have to bake them for 30 minutes in a low degree oven and then let them thoroughly cool...which basically took overnight. The pots came out perfectly after the baking and the rest of the project went as expected...soaking the soil pods and planting the seeds. I did love the project, but it is not something that would be good for say a child's birthday party activity to do with other children since the baking process takes a long time. The selection of paint colors was wonderful...and black and white were also included so you could change the colors to different hues (adding white to the red to make a light pink for example). Also, there are little signs included that you can paint with the names of the seeds you planted in each pot and on the back, you can put the date, and/or the child's name. The pots are lovely and an expression of the kid's artwork. Their parents were thrilled to received them. I would certainly gift this to another child...but would tell the receiver that this is not a project that gets done in a day. All in all...fun gardening kit.
