[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This scoop free litter box is just that-scoop free! Toss away the nasty plastic messy and gross plastic scoopers of the past! Right out of the box its easy to set up, and neat to watch work. This has been the only litter+box that I have ever used that there was truly NO odor. Once the unit is full you pick up the base and toss the rest-voila! Couldn't be easier. The cats did take a few days to get accustomed to it, but following the tips on the box made it a quicker transition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know how they do it. It has to be witchcraft. We haven’t changed litter in two weeks and can’t smell a thing. We moved into a new house and had a small area we could put the cat box so we put it in the basement laundry room next to our kids play room and we could smell it within a week. The traditional litter smell and cat waste smell filled the area. So switched over from an automatic cleaning traditional litter box to this trying to do anything to fix the problem. Well, problem solved! It has been two weeks and we haven’t even done anything with it because the directions said to let it go for a while. We can’t smell a thing. All of the waste just gets swept under the cover and you don’t see it, or smell it. We are very happy with it.

I kept their old litter box just in case they wouldn’t take it/one wasn’t enough but they barely went in it anymore so I got rid of it. I got a reusable tray and I buy the PetSafe litter that comes in two bags. I change it every 2 weeks (you’d probably have to once a month for one cat) and I scoop myself the solids under the cover every other day so it doesn’t smell at all. I love it so far, it has saved me so much time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely excited to try this automated ScoopFree litter box. As much as we love our cats, scooping litter is not a favorite activity. We were cautiously optimistic, but so far this gadget works better than we expected. Assembly out of the box is minimal, installation is easy, but I still recommend watching a video on "how to". We had ScoopFree next to the old litter box for a couple of days, so cats would get used to it. All three indoor cats made the switch and now are using the new box with no issues. One of the big pluses is that ScoopFree ALWAYS looks tidy. It rakes itself, so all you can see is nicely even clean crystals - great! The noise is minimal, more like a very low volume hum. I cannot imagine it would ever disturb anyone. Before we used lightweight clumping litter. This crystal litter looks nicer, produces no dust, but cats do track it (same as any litter, frankly). The cost of replacement litter trays is just a bit higher than our old litter. I also found that a permanent tray can be purchased for this box and probably will get it (seems like a good idea). Though this permanent tray runs about fifty dollars, I think it is a justifiable expense in the long run. So, quite pleased with this gadget. If it keeps working as it does now, it will be a quantum improvement on the quality of life for everyone in the house. Really, better than we expected.
