The cards are more sturdy than I expected. I have a 1 year old niece and she loved listening to it as we switch out the cards for her

I just bought this (got it yesterday) so I can't speak for how long it will last. However, I bought it for my son who has a speech delay and he already started saying "Owl" since we got it. My 'negative' comment would be that some of the words are just not words we use. Such as, there is a card for 'Sofa', when we call it a couch. Small things like that. Not a deal breaker.

I would recommend this for children.
