This Faction Sentinel Turret Gel Bead Blaster is fun to play with once it’s set up. You have to soak the gel beads it comes with, & download the app to unlock the blaster. This blaster is handheld & there’s a button you push down with your thumb to blast the beads. It has a switch with four notches on the side. The first notch is the lock position. The following are a single, a three round burst, & automatic. I’m glad that goggles are included. They fit an adult size head. The beads shoot out really fast that I don’t see them. I see them if they hit a large target. They disintegrate into gel when they hit something. It is loud when it is blasting, so ear plugs might be handy when using this. I like that it’s chargeable with a USB. It flashes red when charging & lights up green when in use. It comes with a turret to set it on that turns & aims using the remote. It also comes with a beacon to use for target practice. It feels well made.

Oh man, this turret gel beads gun is a blast. My daughter andd i went oyt in the back yard and spent about 30 minutes blasting the faction drone. This is a 2in 1 blaster. Both by hands or setting up on turret and controlling remotely. I found best range is about 70 feet away. There are multiple firing options fro single to full auto. It wasfun watching this in action. Me and te kids plan touse on our off grid property alot. Now i need to invest in more gel beads.

The faction sentinel turret gel bead blaster set is a lot of fun I strongly recommend this it a complete with eye protected glass yoour household would have a lot of fun. Also I received this free from Target heybullseye sampling program.

I was under the impression that we would be able to open the box, put some batteries in the bead blaster and beacon and only have to wait for the gel beads to hydrate. I was wrong. It was a time consuming process, that took around 3-4 hours before we were able to start. The bead blaster must be charged by using the provided charging cable. The adapter is not provided but I was able to use one we had from our phones. It took about an hour to fully charge. The dehydrated gel beads needed to be prepared, which took 3 hours as recommended. Filling the clip with the beads was semi-easy, although a few of them went rogue and bounced all over my kitchen floor. I put the beads in a rice strainer and used a funnel after too many bounced away using just hands. The blaster itself is easy to use and great accuracy. There is a little orange chat button where we were able to talk to each other since we have another blaster. There is an app to download which isn’t mandatory, but I did since it was highly recommended based on the instructions. The app was easy to start up and kept track of hits, we can choose a drone or a beacon as a target and had the ability to control some functions of the blaster. There are some items on the app that said coming soon so we couldn’t test those out. Initially connecting the blaster and beacon was easy but we had to close the app a few times and connecting them back again got confusing or we thought it was connected but it wasn’t so we had to start over by closing the app and shutting the beacon off. We had to keep the app open the whole time otherwise the blaster and targets were disconnected. Towards the end of playing with the blaster we just closed the app and used it with the beacon without. We could still tell if there was a hit or miss based on the color of the light band. Aside from the time from opening the box to playing, the only other complaint we had was the beads jammed up quite a bit but it was a quick fix. The tripod has motorized pivoting and the ability to use the remote control to fire the blaster or keep track of hits while on it. It is a nice addition. We have played with this for hours! This is fun for the whole family.

This is an awesome toy to get kids outside playing again. It has the app / technology piece as well but you can play with or without it! There is some set up time required to charge and get the gel beads in water

This was super fun for the kids. The beads do take 3 hours to soak but the fun was well worth it. They seem durable as the kods did drop it a couple times and it didn't break. It also came with googles for safety.
