This is a great product, but I wish there was a way by to actually secure the pens. They snap on, but there’s no cord or anything, so inevitably the pens get lost. There isn’t a good way to add a string either. That seems like poor planning for a product designed for kids.

Boogie boards are awesome. My son's has gotten endless hours of entertainment out of this. However, I do NOT like the "pens" or the way they are attached. They are constantly falling off and getting lost around the house or in the car. They don't snap into place they just kind of sit on the outside of the case. because of the shape of them they are also awkward to hold and not good for practicing those fine motor skills of holding a writing utensil. For the price, I think the pens should be higher quality and easier to keep track of.

As others have mentioned the new version (white) is not near as good as the old one. The rubbery drawing pieces do not work well on the board. Toddler still enjoyed it for a while but overall we were pretty disappointed since it was so much better in the past.

Hi there, We had the boogie scibble board in the past. It was black/red/blue/yellow. Weve had it for YEARS. My son accidently broke it by putting suction cups on it. I recently got a new one from Target this week. This one is white/green/blue/red/yellow. This updated version, stinks. The texture of the board is different, and its harder to draw. The pens are now rubbery and dont draw as well ans they dont onto the board and stay on as well. They fall off. My son has some sensory issues and wont play with this version anymore. Please bring back the old design. It was perfect the way it was.

This item contains a button battery. If you have small children and are trying to avoid the dangers of button batteries in your home do not purchase this. I was searching for this style product that does not contain one..but unfortunately the description is not accurate as it states it only requires 2 AA batteries which is false.

Would not recommend at all. It’s to dark to see anything. Needs to be brighter.
