I was so excited to try this bodysuit by Spanx. I have used their shapewear for several years and thought this piece would be great as well. However, parts of it just didn’t work for me. The straps are very flimsy. They feel almost like tank top straps and doesn’t give much support to the bodysuit. I don’t think it will hold up on my frame well. (I have a 1X by the way.) Also, the open bust area is cut too small to be comfortable. I wear 44DD bra and had to keep pulling it to the side to ensure it doesn’t cut across my bust area. These may not be an issue to smaller bust woman or those who don’t mind the thinner straps. The pro of the bodysuit is the fit. It’s a struggle to get on, but I love the way it fits across my midsection. It gives me a snug fit and shapes it very well. The snaps in the crotch area are great as well. Overall, I think Spanx is going to right direction with this bodysuit. With those adjustments, I think it would be perfect for me.

I have never used shapewear before. I didn’t feel that it did much. It would have been better if I had the type that went past the thighs. I got a M and maybe should have got a L. I am 5’5” and 140 lbs.

I purchased the plus-size bodysuit and should have taken note of the skinny straps (not even half an inch) and only 2 crotch clasps (my other bodysuits have 3), which may not provide enough support for a larger people. The thin straps also dig into the shoulders, causing discomfort. The bodysuit is not suitable for plus-size women.

“I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review.” The body suit it easy to put on, has poppers underneath for easy bathroom access. I loved how it kept my belly shape conforming. However i did not like how tight it was around my tights making them look huge compared to my now small waist. The way it cuts under the bust is very close to the bra therefore for me it felt very uncomfortable. If you avoid a bra with this product I would. Overall I didn’t love the shape wear due to the cut of it.

I was excited to use this shaper and the quality and construction were great and it has a very soft feel. I appreciated that you could wear your own bra with this shaper and it had clasps to allow for easier restroom breaks. I wanted to love this open bust bodysuit, but it seemed to run small. I think if the fit was better it would have worked as advertised.

Unfortunately I don’t think this shapewear was made for my body type. Although I’m not large, it cut into my legs and butt, and gave me more or a rounded tummy than usual, which makes me think the control fabric was just hitting me in the wrong places. The fabric is lovely and soft. I like that it sits below the bust. But other than that I didn’t like it at all and don’t be able to wear it.

I was excited to get this in the mail but was a bit disappointed with the fit. The leg holes have a hard seam that puts a dent into your leg. Maybe a size up to medium would work but small is usually my size. It fit everywhere else so I feel like a medium might not do anything.

When this arrived it looked like a child size swimsuit and I assumed there was no way it was going to go on. I was surprised that it did indeed fit with a little wiggling and wasn't terribly uncomfortable. Once on the compression was great through my midsection and torso. I like that it stops below my chest so my chest isn't compressed and I can wear a normal bra. What I didn't like is that the compression in the bottom portion was so much that when it ended at my upper thighs it created a bulge of chub. It looked very odd to be slim every wear and then suddenly have my thigh chub pop out, like reverse muffin top. I think the other version of this, the bicycle shorts version, would eliminate that problem. For someone who is fairly small anyway and just looking for compression in the stomach area who doesn't have thigh chub then this would work. For reference I am 5'9, 146 lbs and my bmi is 21.7, i'm not overweight, just a little fluffy and I got this in a medium.

I was a little disappointed in this body suit. My torso is longer so when I put it on the straps on the shoulders really push down on me and hurts. If this body suit was strapless, I think it would be perfect!

The bodysuit was fairly uncomfortable and was not supportive for how uncomfortable it was. Truly, I would hope for more smoothing with how tight the bodysuit is. It did have some slimming effect but honestly it wasn’t enough slimming to make it worth wearing in my opinion.
