It is approximately 12 inches by sixteen inches and it works perfectly in my recliner on my neck and shoulders. It is also very soft and flexible and very comfortable, with four heat settings it is just what I needed. You won't regret this heating pad it is great.

Sunbeam is a brand that has been around for many years and I trust it to make a quality product. The feel of this heating pad is so nice and the instant warming and even heat is so nice for my painful shoulder. It sits nicely on my arm and shoulder and isn’t heavy and does not get too hot. I would love an adapter for my car so I would suggest that for the future. I like the size and the feel and would recommend it to any one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from osteoarthritis and sometimes a good dose of heat is the only way to get my knees and hips moving. I've used many heating pads and blankets, and this is by far the one with the most features I can use. I really like how you can unplug the pad and wash it. You can even use it for 'wet heat.' That's huge. All my other pads just had a cover. This pad seems to be able to be squished OK without losing it's form. It also heats up really quickly and stays very consistent. I can't honestly really handle the high settings without it being on top of a blanket or something. The controls are quite intuitive and the designers have included a safety feature that shuts it off after 2 hours. Sometimes so much heat can make naps happen. They rarely last 2 hours, but I suppose you could use this in bed and not have to worry about the heat staying on all night long. All in all an impressive heating pad, as such things go.

It distributes the heat evenly throughout the pad and it comfortable to use on my back. It has a soft outer layer material that makes it nice to the touch. The cord is long enough so that I can easily plug it into the wall and sit min my chair while using it. The remote responds well too. I can adjust the settings to the proper heat that I need. It contains graphene with helps to concentrate the heat. This also has an auto shutoff after 2 hours which is very useful. I love that the mad is machine washable. This is a great quality heating pad and will come in handy for many uses. I would recommend it.

I work from home and she loves the warmth of my laptop, I plugged this in and sat it next to me on the floor and its been a great distraction rather than laying on my computer! Good amount of heat and very well made.

It also has a removable material pad so it can be removed for washing. Easy to use and helps with all diffrent kinds of pain. My 8 year old has leg pain some nights and he enjoys it. I get menstrual pain and it helps me. It's a multiuse heating pad.
