In theory, it should not be difficult for me to find jeans I like. I fall well in the middle of the bell curve when it comes to men's sizes. But the skinny look is what's been trending for a while, and my calves are just muscular enough that they can't do a lot of skinny jeans. I usually go for the ones labeled "Slim," so that I can get close to the current style and avoid looking like someone who just walked out of the 1990s in their fat JNCO jeans. But sometimes even the slim-fit jeans are a bit too tapered. These jeans, on the other hand, are perfect--snug enough around the thighs and calves, but not too tight. The other thing that makes buying jeans difficult for me is that I can't, for the life of me, get into the extreme distressed look, or any kind of excessive showiness when it comes to jeans. (I love that scene in Deadpool where Wade Wilson tells a guy, "You need to seriously ease up on the bedazzling. They're jeans, not a chandelier.") These particular jeans, though, keep the faux distressing very subtle--just a slight muting of the dye around the thighs, and that's pretty much it. In terms of comfort, these are top shelf as well, with just enough stretch to the fabric that they don't dig into your skin as you're sitting, bending, etc. They also seem durable, but I haven't worn them quite long enough to know for sure. This is one of my three favorite pairs of jeans. If it's any indication of how rare of a find that is, one of my other favorites was purchased in Hermosillo, Mexico. You could say I've done my share of searching.

My husband really loves these jeans. They are flexible and very comfortable to wear. He also loves how stylish they are. The only thing that he is getting used to is the fact that they stretch out throughout the day and feel a bit loose. When they are washed, they shrink back to their normal size, then they stretch out again as he wears them through the day. Overall, though, the comfort and fit is completely worth getting used to.

Goodfellow and Co. have nailed it with these jeans! I wanted to wear, and wash, them a couple times before I rated them. Now, after washing them twice and wearing them 10+ times they're still the same dark blue as before. I was really expecting them to bleed on light surfaces or at least fade, but so far they haven't. What I like most, though, is the bit of stretch they have. They jeans are slim cut, but with the stretch they're charmingly comfortable - not your typical denim and probably not what you'd wear to bail hay. All in all, I love the jeans. They're fashionable, casual and comfortable.

I love the fit. I will buy more.

These jeans fit my husband so well. They were a little low cut but 34 length fit his 6’4” physique perfectly. Definitely a good buy.

I just got these today and I love them. They have a stretch to them which makes the waist very comfortable. I am a big guy size 42 W 32 L fit just right.
