We tried the griddle for the first time today and it works really well. Worth the money as long as it lasts for many years. Only time will tell.

The griddle was used this weekend for the first time and the cooking surface was really great as nothing stuck to it. Also, the griddle heated up quickly and seemed to cook the French Toast and Pancakes at the correct temperature. Cleanup was easy and hopefully this griddle will provide many years of usage as it is pretty well constructed. What I can see is it is worth the price that it is selling for.

Hamilton beach has done it again! My whole kitchen is filled with their products and this griddle is amazing! Initially I thought it would be great for when we camp but honey let me tell you! It’s great for my every day use! I have a husband and two boys to feed and I’m gonna use this instead of my stove and oven! It’s affordable, energy efficient, doesn’t take up much space, non stick, had enough room to get the whole meal done, heats up quick, and let me tell you I could go on and on! It doesn’t get the house hot like the oven and stove either! I suggest you run and get this product!

So very happy with this griddle. I've used an assortment of griddles over the years and they have had issues with hot and cool spots along with a wide range or inconsistent temperature hold point. I put the Durathon Ceramic Griddle through its paces and was pleased with how well it performed. I cooked up burgers for a family gathering and had burger sizzling goodness with a consistent high temp setting. The burgers did not sizzle and then cool down to then again start sizzling again. This griddle held a consistent temperature with no wild temperature swings. With the second batch, I moved the burgers around to see how even the heat was across the griddle. I expected to find some cool spots on the griddle but found that the burgers on the outside edge of the griddle were cooking up as quickly as burgers in the middle of the griddle. I've now cooked up an assortment of foods on the Durathon Ceramic Griddle and quite happy with it. The nonstick surface is great for eggs. I cooked eggs after bacon so had a bit of bacon fat for the fried eggs. I like eggs over easy with tender whites and no crispy brown edges. Impatient, I attempted to flip the not quite set egg over but rolled it over instead. I ended up with a rolled up fried egg which was tender whites fully cooked and yolk soft for perfect toast dipping. Years of cooking behind me and this nonstick griddle allowed me to develop a new technique with this happy accident. It's a new favorite for fried eggs. If you are looking for a decent price point for an infrequently used appliance, this will serve you well. I expected to only pull this out when I have a crowd to feed but it performs so well and easy to clean up, I am cooking with it on a regular basis.

Very easy to use. The size is perfect for our family of 4. Easy to clean. The griddle heated up nicely, eggs cooked fast enough, so did hamburger. It would be nice if it came with some accessories, for example a lid that could be used for eggs, possibly have it as either another package or "extra" that could purchase as a suggestion.

I use this griddle mostly for pancakes and works like a charm. Heats up and cooks fast, and nonstick surface works well (almost doesn't even need nonstick spray but I still use it). Large surface works well for cooking lots of pancakes at the same time (at least 8), and its relatively thin profile is nice for storage. Cleans up easily with hot soapy water, and drip tray can go through dishwasher top shelf. I initially thought the front catch tray would be a pain to clean with its lip, but it actually is pretty accessible and easy to wipe clean. Pics show the griddle new out of box, after cooking pancakes (no problems with caching or burning stuck), and also the bottom in case you are curious what it looks like.
