These two solar lanterns are very cute. We placed them on either side of the first low step to our porch. They came with a battery installed, and they were very simple to put together. We followed directions and waited for about 6 hours, then turned them on. That evening the lights were bright and they looked so nice gently swinging. They were not quite as tall as the picture shows especially as we anchored them as far up as possible to ensure they would stay put in some of the high winds where we live.
