Always have used Mr Coffee makers. Only reason for replacement is the carafe breaks.

No fancy coffee here just good old fashioned coffee maker. Got this to replace an older model. So far it's been a great replacement. Really like the feature that tells you how long the brewer has been on to let you know if the coffee is fresh. Haven't used it yet but like the fact it has a dedicated clean feature. Seems to brew faster than my old one.

Great coffee maker for a really great price.

I have purchased many, many coffee pots. I have come to the conclusion that Mr. Coffee brand coffee pots last the longest. Which includes the more expensive brands.They put a fancy decor around the controls and look flashy, but the burner or hot plate is cheap, and they burn out real soon. Mr. Coffee uses a hot plate that lasts, so they are the Champ, in my Kitchen!

This Mr. Coffee Maker seems fine SO FAR. It replaced a recently purchased, similar Mr. Coffee unit that was trash. That one began leaking shortly after purchase, shorting out the electronics, and leaving puddles on the counter. Of course, it failed just after the window for returns closed. That trash unit was acquired from Amazon.
