Color is the perfect cocoa brown and they block light beautifully. BUT...no way are they 84". I have them on a double rod with semi sheer panels behind that are 84" long. These drapes are about 2 1/2 inches too short. Compared them with other drapes I have that are 84" inches and they are still too short. My only choice would be to undo the hem which would make them the perfect length. Not sure about doing that, probably best to return.

I got the Taupe ones and color was spot on. The length was wrong it should have been 84" long instead it was 82" long but the width was 52" as expected. The curtains are shiny material and that might not go well with one's decor. I ordered 4 panels and what I received was 2 new sealed panels, 1 panel with bag opened and the 4th bag had two short beige curtains crumpled up each in individual bags then sealed up in one larger bag together. Now I understand that is the warehouses fault but really don't understand when it had a different product # on it. So I only tried the open one and because it was so short I decided not to go with it. Yes I could of reordered but I did not want to jump on the merry-go-round with them. In the end they really did not look that nice for what I was trying to achieve in the room.

1 panel arrived in a somewhat closed package and the other was just thrown in the box (this one was wrinkled like it had been balled up). I was going to return them right away but I needed curtains army new place so I kept them. I tried to steam the wrinkles out but the panel lost its luster/sheen. I’ve purchased these curtains for years either on Amazon or in store and they are normally great- true blackout curtains and beautiful. This seller needs to do better then send returned crap that isn’t up to the standard of selling a ‘new’ item. The seller could have sold this as used at a discounted price and given me the option- because I paid for a new curtain panel and should have gotten a new panel.

I was so excited for these curtains and the beautiful color. I waited for my husband to put them up after receiving them a week prior. We were setting up the second guest room for our friends kids to sleep in. We cleaned everything including mopping the floor. The next day I went into the room and noticed and rancid smell like spoiled milk. We searched for the smell. My husband even mopped the floors again with our dr bronners peppermint, which is strong. He thought he got the smell but an hour later went back in and it still smelt. Finally he smelled the brand new curtains and realized it was them that smelt like spoiled milk! He was so grossed out he didn’t want to even wash them and just asked me to return them and make sure to write a review. Stinky curtains!
