If you have a child who is into STEM, they will absolutely love this robot. Thera are quite a few pieces that demand attention to detail, so if your child is on the younger end, they'll definitely need help. But overall, it's fun to assemble and even more fun once it's all together and working.
Thames & Kosmos Robot is very cool it is small light weight I call it the take along robot because it is small enough to go everywhere with it has sound movement it reminds me of an AI it can also stand.
My daughter loved putting this together. She is only 10 but was able to get through it mostly on her own. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and the parts were easy enough to identify where they needed to go.
This is a fun little robot that at first glance looks overwhelming by all the little pieces and instructions but is really not that bad. Once you get started everything starts to make sense and it a fun little project for kids into building or STEM activities. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a gift for a kid that fits those.
Plan for a long assembly time when you gift this pretty sweet little robot together, our 12 year old that loves projects like these build at home robots took a few hours to reach the finish line. Also be prepared for an abundance of lights and noise when it’s ready.
My 8 year old daughter got this as a Christmas gift and she loves it! This is the perfect gift for the stem loving child (and adult!) It also comes with a cute comic book to talk about his adventures.
