I got my wife one of these rings because she has somewhat stopped wearing her expensive wedding/engagement rings on a daily basis. We have a 2 y/o, and she was afraid her ring would scratch him (again), or she'd lose a diamond at the beach or the park, playing in the sand. So I got her one of these (smooth, no diamonds) that she can wear everyday. I just orderedone for myself to match her new one. :) The ring feels heavier than I expected. She said it was beautiful.
