The battery lasts quite a while and my daughter can listen to her stories for hours on end. I like that there are about 6 stories per each piece you put in.

The Minnie Mouse plates magnetizes to the side of the headphones to download the story. My kids really enjoyed this, even my 8 month old was amused with them! I definitely recommend buying these!
