I like it well enough, but it is listed as being "Touchscreen Enabled". It is not.

Works fine but I am new to using Chrome so still playing with it a few minutes to an hour a day.

It works fine as intended.

Very good value for money. Full HD screen is the best feature. Battery live does not seem to be as good as declared in description. They say it should last 9 hours. I have not checked it with a "stop watch in my hand" but I can estimate that it lasts roughly 5-6h.

Only thing I don't like about it is the harsh color and contrast on the screen. You kind of get used to it, but it just doesn't have the picture that I'm used with a Dell laptop. Everything else is great!

It's a very durable chrome book, more then I had expected for the price. The only complaint I have is, the brightness is not as bright as I would like. I'm getting older and my eye's are not what they use to be. It's actually faster then my Lenovo Thinkpad notebook. I don't have windows 10 issues like I do with the Thinkpad. You cannot go wrong with this chrome book.

Really nice machine. Good screen, blacks could use a little more contrast. I love the size, great for around the house and watching Netflix in bed. ChromeOS/Docs is good for making simple spreadsheets and paying bills. The keyboard and track pad are great for the price. The front facing speakers are nice for watching media. Wish there was a little more integration with android. I also wish there was a back light option for the C910 series. The 100GB of free Google Drive is a nice plus. One thing to note, I was going to use a 64gb SD card as some expandable storage, it sticks out way to far, about 1/2 an inch. I ended up buying a low profile USB storage device instead.

The Acer chromebook 15 is a good purchase. This is coming from a student. The quality of this laptop is bnased mostly on what you will be doinkg with it. If you need a laptop that requires programs being installed, look at a windows machine instead. But uf you're like me, where everything can be done online, using google drive and other various cloud services, this laptop is perfect. The 15.6" screen isnt bad, considering it's 1080p, rare at such a price, and the matte finish eliminates all gloss and glare. keyboard is sufficient. nothing fancy. I am after all writing this review on it. I bought the black version, and im glad i did. I hear the white version, fingerprints and smudges are more visible. the texture is pleasant, performance is fantastic, as expected with chrome os.

This is my second Chromebook and I like it even better then my first one. The screen resolution is unbelievable and I am quite impressed with the speakers. For a laptop the sound quality is superior. My first Chromebook was one of the originals when it first came out and this one has a lot more features. The f keys on Chromebooks have been changed to keys that you are more likely to use but on this model you can change the keys back to the f keys if you like, them better. The same with the cap lock key which was changed to the search key but if you use the cap lock key a lot you can change it back to that. Otherwise to use cap lock temporarily you hold down the alt key and the search key. There are also other options you can do with the keys under settings. I especially like the wide angle screen which is great for watching videos and works really well with e-books. It starts up in under 10 seconds. If you already have a Google account you will be up and running in a couple of minutes. The Chromebook uses Google apps. and it is now compatible with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point besides having their own app.for these programs which I personally like because I find them more user friendly. I would definitely recommend this Chromebook. My only regret in my excitement to get the new Chromebook is I ordered from a third party seller and a couple of days later I saw I could get it for $80.00 cheaper from another seller. The seller I purchased it from wanted a $120.00 return fee plus shipping and handling which I find really excessive and so of course it wasn't worth the cost to return it. So my advice is yes buy the Chromebook just be careful who you buy it from and learn from my mistake.

WOW ! Received my Acer Chromebook 15 today and am already loving it. I have had a succession of windows laptops over the last 10 years. my last one (and favorite) was ruined a year or so ago by a hot cup of tea (argh). I couldnt justify the cost of replacing it. I have an iPad and so just used that... but kept my eyes on the new Chromebooks. Then I was gifted an Asus Chromebook 11 incIh (2 gb RAM 16 gb HD) by my boss at the New Year and have enjoyed it immensely - so much so that i ditched my very old Windows pc in my studio and bought a Chromebox and nice big monitor for far less than a comparable new windows system. I have been using the Asus for couch surfing and on my patio. Its a great little Chromebook but I wanted a larger screen and faster processor, more RAM and larger HD. so after much research decided mainly based on the reviews here to purchase this Acer 15 inch instead of the other Acer 15 white CB. So far, I am thrilled! This is fast! I love the large screen.. am listening to GOTTERDAMMERUNG from Bayreuth on the in case speakers and they are not bad. Am looking forward to watching my favorite BBC shows (another reason for purchasing the larger screen) Yes it is much larger - but that is fine, this CB will not be traveling much except out to the patio perhaps. I heartily recommend this to anyone looking for a larger CB. PS I love the black matte finish on the case. and the keyboard does not bother me as it does other reviewers. i actually like the fact that it is higher up and there is more room to rest my wrists to type. I find it much much more comfortable!
