Super fast. Open the cover, enter password and you are online in about 7 seconds 4x faster than a phone and 12-15 x faster than BLOAT WARE INFESTED Windows anything. I wish it had a full keyboard. I paid $345 now they are selling for $285. It would be worth waiting for or making sure your next Chromebook will accept Android Apps. Mine does not.

This Chromebook really impressed me. I switched from a Dell laptop to this Chromebook and couldn't be happier. It is fast, great picture and the sound is good with the built in speakers. Moving over to Google Docs from Microsoft Office Suite was scary thought but became easily acclimated. Replaced Quickbook 2013 with Quickbooks online. Everything I did on my laptop I can do on here for a lot less money and faster.

Excellent computer, great packaging, excellent service from company. Had to connect an adapter for an Ethernet connection as I didn't want Wi-Fi connection. Computer is very fast start-up and am still trying to figure out how a Chromebook works, but it was well worth the money! Acer has a very nice product, has one 3.0 and one 2.0 port on this particular model, with HDMI port and SD card reader slot.

I also own the full HD Toshiba, which I love, but this is so much better. It has a beautiful full HD screen, plus 32gig SSD and an intel celeron processor. I would notice a little lag with multiple tabs open on the toshiba, but on the Acer is very smooth and almost completely lag free. I would recommend this to anyone. I have used my windows PC maybe 2 times since making the jump to chromebooks about 3 months ago.

It's spectacular. The speakers are stunning for a laptop this cheap, and the screen is stunning regardless. You'd be hard pressed to find many better 1080p panels out there. Performance-wise, it, of course, does great in ChromeOS, but it also does great running Linux chroots with Crouton. Chances are good that if you're looking at this, you know what you're looking at, and I can tell you after months of going back and forth on the idea of buying one, my only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.

Beast. Takes a second longer for wi-fi to "wake up" when you lift the lid then my Samsung chromebook does. So you flip open the lid and hit the chrome browser icon in the tray and you get a connection error...1 second later you reload the page and your up and surfing. That's probably the only drawback but ironically I would guess it's a result of the mega fast pc-caliber processer. Go figure. Buy it for the screen size alone, I'm going to need cheaters soon to read my 11" Samsung screen! Both are great though.

We bought my mother basically the same chromebook last year and it's served her well so when my wife's computer bit the dust we went ahead and got her this chrome book. The machine is great. We basically needed something that booted up and operated quickly. It does just that. Our only complaints with it have to do with the chrome os. You can't just plug it in to a printer and print... seriously google..... As for the machine, it's been awesome.

I got mine yesterday and so far, I think I'm in love! I've always used Google Chrome as my browser so having Chrome as the OS is perfect. Nothing at all for me to get used to. I love both the picture and sound qualities, the ease of use, the size of the screen and how lightweight it is. It doesn't run hot, no matter how long I have it on and for the moment, I really just can't say enough nice things about it. I think I'm sticking with Chromebooks from now on!

I agree with all of the positive comments already posted for this product. This is my second Acer Chromebook. My 11 inch model is perfect for it's portability. This 15 inch model is perfect for watching videos (I cut the cord a long time ago). The speakers are excellent for listening to music as well. I am looking forward to adding Linux/Ubuntu to this machine which will be the best of all possible worlds. P.S. I should add that I purchased refurbished on Amazon and I cannot tell it's not a new machine.
