I tried on the skirt because I was looking for something lightly and stylish to wear this summer and the crocheted texture immediately caught my eye. It has a nice balance of casual and dressy. I tried the size small, I am 5‘1“ and around 110 pounds, and while it fit overall, I do think the waistband could have been just a touch more snug for me. It didn’t fall down or anything, but it felt a little roomy at the waist. The length was good, it was short, but not too short, and I liked that it was lined. This item is being reviewed by my sister who is 5’9” and 135lbs wearing a size small. The material is a very thick and good quality almost rope like feel. The price is not too bad. I wore the matching top with the skirt for a dinner with friends, but any tight shirt tucked in would pair nicely with this. The inside has a soft slip like material which was very comfortable. I am so pleasantly surprised by this skirt. It is a long enough length to actually wear to work. I am 5 foot eight and it actually hits me in the middle of the knee. Definitely a perfect length. Additionally, this entire skirt is lined and the knit on the outside is very thick. It is beautifully done and I am very happy with it. I do typically wear a size 10, and this is a size medium and it fits great. Additionally love the elastic waistband. I received an incentive to write this review.
