I bought this boat because I have a thing for cheap boats. I recently purchased a Traxxas Blast and have since upgraded it. This boat is as fast as the Blast was stock. (And the Blast cost 3x as much!) The simple differential thrust setup is toy-ish but very functional. Digital Proportional 2.4ghz control and a 7.4v Li-Ion round out a great package. Battery life is also good, the motors run at a reasonable temperature and the hull takes on very little water. (Unlike my expensive Traxxas) I would say the box is accurate, 12 mph sounds slow but on the water it is more than enough to enjoy, I'm sure a younger child would be amazed. This would make a great rescue boat for us more experienced hobbyists!
Fantastic boat for the price point. I got one of these for me and my daughter to play with. It is something cheap and fun we can do out at our lake on the weekends. Great beginner boat for sure.
Bought for my 6 year old grandson to use in the pond. He really liked it and mastered it quickly. It's super quick too. Have crashed it hard a few times and it is in great shape.
The product iss greatly priced and fun to use. Quality of materials is expected at this price point and durable enough for pools and ponds. It's both fun and entertaining for all ages. A great buy that I don't regret one bit.
This remote control boat is so much fun! The remote control is so easy to use and it charges up in about an hour. We use it in our pool but are looking forward to taking it on our next lake trip. I would definitely recommend this to anyone of my age who is looking for a fun and reliable toy.
Had my doubts, but this RC boat is pretty awesome! Great size and speed for a mid-size pool, well made and they look super nice. you can even customize them. Any faster, and it would not be fun to play. They turn well, they are really fast in a straight line and heavy duty enough to take a good smack, but I'm glad I stuck bumbers on them. They really help! Racing two is very exciting because they are so big! Very happy with this purchase!
