I purchased two of these ottomans. I’m very pleased with the quality and design. The hardware to be installed came with an Allen wrench. It was a little awkward putting those screws in because of the angle. The brackets that attach the seat to the legs required a power screwdriver to install. Overall, they were very easy to assemble. The fabric is a very attractive light to medium gray. These don’t look like cheap ottomans. They are very solid and well-constructed.
This is a solid, well-constructed ottoman. It is the perfect height for resting your feet while seated on a sofa or chair. (We noticed other ottomans were much higher in height, possibly meant for use as cocktail tables, as well.) The legs are a sleek design of rich wood and the fabric top is a nice neutral shade which would blend in with numerous decors. Very satisfied.
We've put together so much furniture over the years (IKEA, Wayfair, Target, etc.) but this bench was really a pain. Yes, there is an Allen wrench, but it has to be turned in such tiny increments -- like an 1/8 of an inch, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, many more repeats, because of the angle -- that one bench took about an hour. Crazy! It didn't have to be designed this way. And then there are no holes for the eight screws that secure the top to the frame. It looks GREAT once finished, but it's going to be a while before I assemble the second one!
The assembly is too difficult in the required small space.
Definitely do not recommend this ottoman. None of the pieces were labeled. The directions were not easy to follow. The tool you need is an allen wrench and the wood only allows you to do a 1/8 turn at a time.
