I bought several of the parachute blankets, because I loved them all. Sadly I'm returning most of the other blankets. They are wonderful, soft and beautiful, but between my husband, our toddler and our two cats, the other blankets would have been destroyed within a few weeks. THIS blanket I'm keeping though! It's got a sturdy enough weave that I think it'll make it through my house, and it is so incredibly soft and breathable. It's going to be used a ton this summer. Love this thing.

Heavy and well worth the price. I drape it on top of my king size bed to add an extra layer. Is does not reach very far down on each side of your bed layer it that way, but I don't mind that or tossed across the corner of the bed. 100% bedding that has any weight in this price range is unheard of. Grab it.

This blanket is beautiful and unique, but the size is confusing for a queen bed. It reaches the floor on both sides if laid one direction, but is way too long to lay it from top to bottom. I didn’t like the way it looked laying from side to side as it looks like I didn’t know I accidentally bought a king blanket for my queen bed, so I lay it from top to bottom and fold the top a couple of times and it’s still almost touching the ground at the bottom of the bed. The only other negative is my cats have accidentally snagged fine threads several times already and I can’t pull them back in so it’s starting to look ragged after only a month of use. So pet owners beware. Other than those issues, this blanket is soft and sturdy and a great summer weight to use when it’s too hot to use your heavy comforter or quilts.

Attractive blanket. Just got it and am leaving two stars off because it’s taking forever to dry after washing. Forever.

I don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about. This was my first experience with Parachute and will likely be my last. I picked up the sheet set which felt like sandpaper. The duvet was only 55% linen. The blanket was covered in pilling as soon as I opened it. Why launch an inferior product for Target just to put Parachute branding on the label??
