Unfortunately, the USB plug does not fit snugly in the USB port. Therefore, the cord has to be wiggled to work a blinks on and off. I tried several USB ports in my house and none of them worked well. I was very unhappy that it didn't function properly. See the photo. The plug is a piece of plastic with metal prongs on the sides. I am very disappointed since I am looking for lighting options for my patio and my sailboat. I thought that if this worked well, I would have purchased 3 or 4 more strips.

Worked once. Then never turned on again. Hope they may exchange for a working one.

The light itself is really cool, for the entire 2 minutes the battery lasted.

Ok So I ordered this and the Vansky https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MAUSASL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The Luminoodle I received was defective, the lights were cutting in and out if I touched the strip, bad wiring. This is lighter in weight, but a more yellow color, dimmer, weaker magnets, and currently more expensive than the Vansky set. So unless the weight is your most important consideration I recommend the Vansky. Backpackers may prefer this one. since plenty of people got working ones

Garbage! Started blinking like they had a short. After only using them twice, they quit working and do not turn on at all.

This was such a cool product and loved it. Unfortunately, it stopped working after three camping trips. We purchased the upgraded version, which isn't as bright and the battery lasted for about two hours.

Only worked for two months, doesn't work anymore.

Powered it on with one of my Anker batteries at home when I received it, and was surprised how bright it was, almost too bright for my purposes. Brought it camping with me for a 10 day trip, in the bag wrapped loosely around that same battery. It worked fine for the first night, maybe 2 hours of use. The second night it turned on, but almost immediately started flickering, then went out and wouldn't turn back on. Tried it with another battery, no light. Good concept, poor execution. Avoid until they get the reliability issues sorted out. $20 for <2 hours of light isn't worth it.
