Lasted me a year of use but won't power on after. I plug it in and it flickers but won't turn on. Seems the USB connector is not making contact or the wiring is faulty. I'd buy a different LED rope.

These lights looked nifty on the first day that I installed them on my electric bike so people could see us. but the second day they didn't work, and now they don't work. Period. So disappointing. Buyer beware.

It worked well for 3 timtill the connection broke and all it did was flash the rope led everytime you barely touched it.

Super Disappointed. I just received my luminoodle + battery pack, and the jokes on me! The bag it comes in looks new, but the battery pack was left in the on position and was blinking when I first pulled it out of the box. I thought "oh well, I will just charge it"...Then I pulled the "noodle" off its spool. I ordered this product as "New", but I believe its totally "used". For one thing, It is REALLY dirty, like its been lying in the middle of the road for a few days, secondly, it smells like a camp fire. I don't know of any product to ever to smell like a campfire, when its new. And thirdly, the luminoodle has a short in it. A slight twist at the base...and the lights go out. I tested this on the battery pack, AND plugged into the usb on my computer, with the same results. I feel that someone bought this, took it camping, had it fail, and then returned it. I will be returning it also. You cant sell used, broken stuff to people as if it were new. Its just not cool. EDIT/UPDATE: I just watched the video of the product, and the packaging in said video, is NOT what I received. Mine was shipped in a clear plastic bag....

Very bright and nice but after a couple of uses it stops working

Stopped working after minimal use for a year. Have to bend at usb plug and get it just right spot for it to work. Then any bump will cause darkness & it to stop working.

I was so excited about this product I bought another as a gift. To my disappointment the 2nd camping trip I took with it the "noodle" stopped lighting up. The battery works but that's not a real use to me without the noodle, not to mention a pitch dark camp because I had the cool light.. ugh bummer the input to the battery seemed sloppy / not a tight plug to begin with.

Product failed just outside of warranty.

I am not sure if I got a faulty light but it only holds charge for a couple of hours so it is completely impractical to take on camping trips.

It seems i may have recieved a defective item. I was actually really excited to try this and planned on keeping in my trunk for emergencies. I plugged it in to various powersources all with the same result, the diodes seem to power on but only to about a single lumen.
